OUR PARTNERS
Development of the Prairie State Technology Center is spearheaded by
Crop IMS, an independent provider of crop production services based in Collinsville, IL. The facility is largely funded and staffed by
AutoFarm, manufacturer of high accuracy GPS machine control technology based in Fremont, CA, and
SST Development Group, a software and information management service company headquartered in Stillwater, OK.
AutoFarm division of Novariant, created in 1999, is known worldwide for its sub-inch accurate, repeatable AutoSteer™ technology. Drawing on its tradition of innovation, AutoFarm continues to introduce new and improved precision ag products including the world's first GPS implement steering system. In 2008, in partnership with Raven Industries, AutoFarm announced the new FarmPRO system, combining RTK sub-inch accurate steering with the state-of-the-art in spray controls. More recently, AutoFarm released the new OnTrac2 GPS Assisted Steering System with "Lock 'n Roll" convenience and no need to remove the steering wheel for installation.
AutoFarm GPS steering solutions provide full crop cycle precision allowing operations such as tillage, planting, chemical and fertilizer application, and harvesting to be performed to maximize crop productivity and yield while minimizing time, labor and material inputs. The accuracy of AutoFarm systems has significant environmental impact by reducing fuel usage and eliminating excess chemical and fertilizer application.
